Mente ? What the heck is mente ? It is a new division under the Tajima Motor Corporation Umbrella that will provide affordable car parts that normally require during routine maintainance. Started on February 2012, this is a new thing as I never thought that Tajima will bring something like this to the market as I always think that performance parts manufacturer will at least stick to SGP parts.Parts such as oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, wiper etc. will be offer at lower prices and hopefully same quality as OEM or SGP. Links in their website will direct you to Amazon Japan website for purchase of parts. Delivery will probably using Amazon too.
I am ok with something like this, but I not sure where this part will be manufacture from, Japan or Asian country. If they are manufacture in Japan with this pricing, I will soon switch to this thing.
I not sure whether this introduction was the effect of the downturn of economy in Japan that reduces spending, hence big company are forced to lower cost and pricing in order to attract customer. Japan is a country that is running in deflation for some years and with the latest event in Fukushima, I think it will get worst. Japan Yen is expensive and make their export highly unattractive.
