Would like to wish all my reader that supported me all these while. Thank you for coming to my blog and leave a few comments in the same time.
It does give me a lot of motivation to keep this blog going.
Although it get a bit slow nowadays, I will try to keep this blog alive. Plus I will share more about my experience with my car to all of you.

Just a quick brief on what had happened to my car in year 2009.

1. Changed tire from Goodyear NCT5 to Michelin PP2
2. A new air intake kit, with air ramp and open pod setup. (used item from singapore)
3. Changed new spark plug.
4. Changed air-cond fan from sanden to denso. Modification is needed. (Cost a lot)
5. Finally changed the air-cond dryer assembly
6. Replaced my air-cond cabin filter
7. Changed my clutch cable
8. Changed my clutch and pressure plate

However I still didnt achieve most of my wish for year 2009. Very sad about it.
Hope it will come true this year..
Let me start to dream and pray for my carbon fiber bonnet and cusco products..
ZZZZ.zzzzzz.........

  1. Hi! My nick name is Karma, Im from Russia Federation, Vladivostok city =) Its near Japan and most of all drivers in our region buy imported used right-handed japan cars. Find your blog about HT81S when browsing and searching Google.

A few weeks ago I buy Suziki Swift Sport 1.5 MT M15A 2003. Its got some CUSCO tuning that been made in Japan: top, bottom and rear bars, CUSCO compact ZERO1 suspension, tuned intake and exhaust systems.

    Ill have a few questions:
    1. What Disc clutch, basket, Clutch release bearing in stock? Need numbers. How difficult is it to change? (on the Daihatsu YRV, for example, its very difficult – had to withdraw engine)
    2. What speakers are at the rear, 10 sm in diameter? (if you remember those dimensions.)
    3. How often change and what kind of oil pouring in manual transmition?
    4. What oil you prefer to engine?

Before Swift I have Daihatsu YRV Turbo with MANUAL transmition! It was 3 or 4 YRV Turbo in Russia with MT at that time... To do that Ill need to replace K3-VE to K3-VET
You can read about this project with some photo (translated by google): http://translate.google.ru/translate?hl=ru&sl=ru&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Freviews.drom.ru%2Fdaihatsu%2Fyrv%2F35084%2F

P.S. Sorry for bad english =)

  2. Thanks for dropping me a comments in this new year.
Happy that you found yourself a Swift Sport (HT81S).
OK let me try to explain some of the question you pop up.

Q1 : Changing of clutch or flywheel require the removal of lower water pipe only ! Does not require to removal or dropping of whole engine.
For more information read here :-
    http://ht81s.blogspot.com/2009/07/suzuki-sport-flywheel-and-bearings-kits.html

Q2 : Size of speaker if i not mistaken is the same as the front speaker. I dont have the info now, I will dig out and post here in the future.

Q3 : Changing of gear oil depends on individual. I had change mine every 60,000 km. It depends much on your driving style.

Q4 : I prefer 5w-30 oil for my car. It feel lighter!

A nice YRV you have there, but I doubt it can keep up with a HT81S in the twisty corner. It does lose in the straight to YRV!

  9. Hi there, I'm Peter from Hungary. I do not have a HT81S, so I decided to build one ;o) Actually I own an RG413 3 door (Ignis FH), it had a traffic accident last June, and because its hard to find parts for it (or they are expensive like hell comparing to parts for Ignis MH) I decided to look after body panels, and make my replica.
I found your blog also during I was searching on parts. I found at you pretty useful information (service manual), just wondering if you have parts catalogue as well in some electric format?

Anyhow, take care, and best regards from middle of Europe!

  10. Hi Peter, Thank you for dropping me a msg.
I am sorry to that that I only have a copy of hard copy parts catalog in my possession.
I dont have the soft copy with me.
But I do saw an online parts catalog in the internet. I will try to find the links and post it here for you.
Great that you have chosen to mod and make a replica of HT81S. Remember to get some aggressive stickers too!!
