How to increase air flow to open pod - Part 2

Finally, I got time to take some photo of the recent mod I done to my car. As mention on the title, its the revisit of the mod as I had done this mod without taking any picture in the first round, so this time I redo the mod with the camera and take some photo for easy reference.

As you can see in the photo above, to remove the front grill from the bumper and the body of the car, you gotta remove some of the plastic clips (black colour) that connect all these parts together. I think you need a simple screwdriver will do the trick.

Next lift the bumper a little and try to pull the grill to the front to remove from the body of the car. Remove a few screws on the inside that lock the grill and bumper together. The area to do this is pretty tight so get a small screwdriver or using a small ratchet will do. You can pull the grill a little, dont worry it wont break. You can see from the picture above.

The photo above is showing the black plastics part that is remove to increase air flow. This photo is borrow from the SISOC forum because mine is already kept in the store and I am lazy to dig it out for the photo shot. Hope you all dont mind.

Next remove the internal black plastics of the grill to become something like the photo above. Take this time to clean it a bit from the dirt and sands that clogging the grill. You will notice the black colour of the front suzuki logo will be gone when the black plastics is remove.

The photo above is the picture of the air flow is being block by the original black plastics that is together with the grill. Anyway, this mod is usefull ONLY to those who changes to open pod setup. Original air filter intake is on the right hand side and doesnt benefit from this mod.

Cheers....
