New material for lightweight flywheel

Now you are looking at the new product by Monster Sport. Lightweight flywheel made with chromoly steel which is high grade steel which is light and high in strength. Flywheel made with this material for HT81S weight at 3.6kg compare to 5.7kg (original flywheel).
But wait, doesn't Suzuki sport made lightweight flywheel before ? Yes they do and what differences between this and the old one ?

The above photo is the lightweight flywheel made by Suzuki sport and the differences are obvious, in order to reduce weight, part of the flywheel were machine out to reduce weight while on the new design flywheel by Monster Sport, due to the differences in material, weight can be reduce without removing metal on the flywheel.

Now, how much it cost for the flywheel ? JPY45,000 and this is not cheap. 

Performance wise ? I think it will be the same as the old design, great at launching buy lose at high speed.

Just remember to change your clutch, pressure plate, flywheel oil seal, clutch release bearings and if possible, change the bolt , bearing on the flywheel in the same time to save on labour cost and your gear oil.
