Have you ever heard about Aragosta Suspension ? I never heard about it before, but it seems interesting. Aragosta was founded in Netherlands and after bought over by a Belgian company sometime ago, it still make some suspension until today and all the suspension are still made in Netherlands.
I always wanted to buy an Ohlins or Bilstein coilver as an upgrade to my blue SS comfort coilover that I am using now and this open another option to me. Finding a company that produce suspension for HT81S specifically are a bit rare nowadays as the production volume of HT81S are quite low. There are other options too for coilover for HT81S, brand like KW, SS, XYZ, D2 ..etc
Do anyone have a picture of this suspension ? I can't find it online and I wonder how it actually look like after installed into a HT81S.
Price is around JPY300,000 and this put it at the same level as Ohlins and Bilstein. It is suitable for road usage or more for race setup?
Part number are : SZ2.A1.00 Type W (SUV Wagon category of suspension)
Spring rate is not that bad : 6kg/mm for front and 5kg/mm for rear. (Soft)
Height adjustment around +10 to -45 (front) & +5 to -5 (rear) with a -30mm drop all round compare to standard.
Anyway here is the links to the parts list in Japanese :-

Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteFrom the price of the suspension it should be good. As I mention above, it is the same range as Ohlins and bilstein. RM12k for a suspension is no joke. Only for hardcore owner.
