Drag style front grill ?

This yellow HT81S are fitted with a drag style front grill where it totally covered up and does this affect the air flow into the radiator and intake system ?
Personally I think it will be non beneficial to the car as it will make the engine hotter , less air flow into the intake and radiator too. By having only the lower part of the front bumper as air intake it will be significantly less air into engine bay.
I wonder what kind of material used for the fully enclosed front grill. Do you notice of the Ignis sport style front headlamp ?
