There has been a lot of confusion between Ignis Sport and Swift Sport. Most of the time people and fans of these car are dizzy thinking how to differentiate both this car.
Actually it's quite simple.
Both car is 1.5l VVT and the slight difference in horse power between both models... maybe in the different tuning in the ECU.

Hmmm...let me say in a simpler way...
During the production of Ignis Sport aka Swift Sport in JDM.... both car share the same platform and outlook but a different interior design in the dashboard.
Both car is 1.5l VVT and the slight difference in horse power between both models... maybe in the different tuning in the ECU.
One important thing to remember for this car is it uses ROn 98 fuel.. higher than normal octane that to suits it high compression ratio of 11.
Both car also equip with Recaro semi-bucket seats at the front with yellow mesh

Ignis Sport is well accepted in some European country such as German, as they do organise a lot of one make races for this car.
Other than the difference mention above, I dont see much differences and both car is actually same.
Just using a different name for different marketing purposes..
