HT81S left behind as time goes by

Since the introduction of HT81S back in 2003 (16 years ago) there are many new car that comes into the market of hot hatch. However, not many are going the basic route ie, manual, light, small, nimble and powerful engine. HT81S excel on all except the engine, it barely enough to run but not too powerful to GTi levels.
Now, Suzuki goes even smaller and lighter in the Alto RS Turbo route, it is boxier, lighter and smaller engine, it still manage to squeeze another pair of door. That is amazing.
I would love one for my daily commute but not for twisty road, just for traffic light race and car park run. It is practical for sending the kids to school and easy parking in town. I believe Alto RS Turbo only available in Automatic, great for wife.
Anyway, the photo above gives me the feeling of HT81S being left out as time goes by. Just a feeling.
