Art pieces for the room

Have you had this experience before? You bought some parts and decided not to install it yet. What you can do with it now ? Display it in your room and look at it every time you back home.
In this case, someone bought a carbon fibre bonnet and put it at the top shelf for display. I had similar experience before but I didn't put it in my room but at my store.
