If you hear a bang and open your bonnet to discover this, you are in some kind of trouble. This is what happened to a Japanese HT81S owner recently and apparently he was driving in the morning and this happened.
I always think that Suzuki make tough engine to take a beating and this just look bad. I wish the reason is something about the plug that he used. Else we are like driving a time bomb.

ReplyDelete"Apparently, as ... (blowed-away with a screw section for each compression plug is loose - "" - ;) "
Sounds like the spark pkug was loose, or cross threaded ruining the aluminium thread, hence the compression of the engine blew the spark plug out of the head, taking the lead and part of the plug coved with it. Not the fault of the M15A, more like bad maintenance or workmanship.
ReplyDeleteThat is the worry part, as we rely on mechanics to do their stuff. Most of them just use the feel of hand to tighten the screw and not using torque wrench in most repair.
