Siecle ADIC for HT81S

I had researched on this item for some time and I still can't get the real picture of what its main purpose when installed into a HT81S.
From Siecle website, the manufacturer of ADIC (Advance Fuel Injection Control) seems to say this will overwrite the signal from ECU by controlling the amount of fuel to be injected into the combustion chamber.
Personally, I don't understand what they mean by controlling the fuel injection, but it claimed to be able to produce additional 15bhp. That is amazing with the price to pay for the product.
Anyway, I welcome anyone who can understand Japanese better than me to comments and enlightened me on this matter.
What I like with this product is, they also developed a harness for the ECU to tap the signal. This harness is good for those who wanted to mod the ECU signal without having to cut through the original wiring which make it a plug-n-play mod.
You can purchase this item from launsport which I had earlier introduce before or visit the links below :-

Price for this item is around JPY 15,000 to JPY 12,000.

I had seen on of this complete set sold at Yahoo auctions at JPY 15,500 which is quite cheap.

  1. This will be a great thing to install after som of the small mods for the iggy(Exhaust manifold ect.)

And woow that is cheap for so much HP gain! what about Tourque(NM)

  2. The torque gain is about 1kg/m as what they claimed in their website. I doubt it will churn out so much in reality..

  3. If you read the point where they mention the 15.4hp gain it's on a Legacy BP model which uses the EJ20 engine same as the older WRX and STi models. So on a naturally aspirated engine like the M15A the gains will be a lot less!
Also, instead of using all this bling blings just remap your OE ECU otherwise just use the Greddy Ultimate.None will be more efficient than a remapped ECU or a standalone!Trust me we 've done this kind of mods on the club's HT81S and the only thing worked on the car is the remapping!

  4. A good point you have there. But sometimes, the remapping process is quite tedious and require a tuner. While using this, you can actually DIY.
That's my point of view anyway.
Emanage Ultimate is a good piggyback option overall, I agree with that.

  5. If you want a little add on like the one above go for the Buddyclub condesser with ground kit wires. It will give you a small kick. And i think that it's better than this one.Remember that if you are not messing with the initial ECU mapping there's no chance you can gain more than 10hp!
Also, don't know if your vehicle is 115hp or 109hp but the 109hp EUDM Ignis Sport is using a lot of security bisepts on its ECU so when you try override it,it automatically corrects the engine's data!

  6. Buddyclub condesser ? What is that ?
Can I have a link to that product ?
I know that the original ECU is quite smart and restricted, but I don't know it actually to that extend...
